Sura Sajdah

Sura Sajdah - 75th Sura revealed to the holy Prophet in Mecca. 32nd Sura in the Holy Quran:

Those who have faith and do good works shall be lodged in the gardens of Paradise in recompense for their labours. But those that do evil, the Fire shall be their home. Whenever they desire to emerge from it they shall be driven back, and shall be told: ‘Taste the torment of the Fire, which you have persistently denied.’

We will inflict on them the lighter torment of this world before the greater torment of the world to come, so that they may perchance return to the right path. And who is more wicked than the man who pays no heed to the revelations of his Lord when he is reminded of them? We will surely take vengeance on the guilty. (Sura 32: verses 19-22):

Those who faithfully bow in submission to their Almighty Lord and ever obeying His will and command, with all humility, Allah shall graciously reward them with Paradise, a garden of peace and tranquility. But, those who denied their Lord by indulging in sinning and transgressing, thoughtlessly and recklessly, shall feel the everlasting torments of Hell-Fire.

Sura Sajdah - 75th Sura revealed to the holy Prophet in Mecca. 32nd Sura in the Holy Quran:

When they are in Hell they will hope that Allah would free them from this torment, but all they will get is a constant reminder of their guilt, dashing any hopes of freedom they had.  This is not earth where their Lord gave them a free will to do as they pleased and gave them respite, or many chances, to seek His forgiveness and redemption. Instead of believing and thanking their Lord they chose to ignore His power by denying His most grievous punishment.

It is not that We have no suffering on earth, each one of us knows and has experienced pain, of varying degree, so why do we think that Allah is incapable of inflicting pain on us? Instead of accepting the harsh reality of the everlasting punishment, that awaits us in the hereafter, we’d rather forget the short period of suffering here on earth.

The unfortunate experiences here in this world are a constant reminder of what awaits for us in the hereafter, so that we may become righteous by doing good deeds - ignoring it would prove to be very perilous. No one can be more evil than a man who is given the chance to seek guidance, from his Lord, for his salvation but chooses to ignore his Lord’s revelation as if they are a waste of time.
